8 Random Things…
I’ve been tagged a couple of times now for the 8 Random Things meme that’s been going around. Guess that means I better put them up and tag some others.
1. After 5 years of not owning a car…we bought one this summer.
2. The 6 weeks that was my summer I never spent more than 5 nights in the same place.
3. I have been wine tasting in 5 different countries.
4. I grew up wearing Wranglers
5. I love going out to a nice dinner, a cold beer, and talking tech!
6. We have two cats…and that’s enough
7. I am geeky….I admit it.

Jeff – enjoyed reading your responses. I’ve never been a big fan of wine, but the other day at my son’s 21st birthday party, we went to a japanese restaurant, and he got a wine called Fuki Plum. I gave it a little sip and loved it!
Also, was excited to see a picture of your blog in ISTE’s publication “Learning and Leading” in an article by Tim Lauer entitled “Bloggers Café Making Your Presence Known.” I am going to do a presentation on NECC07 and web2.0 to my leadership group next week and I’m going to give them a copy of the article. Any resources would be appreciated since I’m still new at all this!
Nice to learn more about the person behind the ‘thinking stick’. My holidays are very similar to yours. Living and working in a country where your family isn’t means the requirement of a trip home and spreading yourself across the country to see them all. Not complaining though. I have seen more of my homeland since leaving it through these holidays!

The wine tasting sounds awesome. We are headed to California to check out a few vineyards in September. If you are a Cab lover, let me know as I have found what I consider to be the best Cab ever.
